English: We finally went to visit Kangaroo Island and spent a wonderful weekend in the nature far from the city. We took the ferry  (after racing against the clock from Adelaide…) and in 45 minutes we arrived to this amazing island, with incredible and uniques landscapes and rock formations (see the gallery). For me, the most attractive thing was the endemics animals, such as the black tiger snake (Notechis scutatus niger) and the pigmy copperhead (Austrelaps labialis). Also there are goannas (monitors) and some frogs. But we only could see a pigmy copperhead (see photos below). Kim and I were lucky and when we went to see the Remarkable Rocks  and could stay there alone, it was magic! She spotted a whale but we could only see it breathing…although it was awesome.
We travelled almost all around the island and we saw seals and penguins, wild and free 😀
